A Call To Action

Unity is usurping Europe . Consciousness is infiltrating the planet. Returning to home base, New York City , after spending 3 months in Europe , I feel much gratitude to be a part of the burgeoning bud of unity and awareness that is massively flowering across Europe . The blossoming and pungency is especially strong in Amsterdam , which has caused the recent birth of The Conscious Co-op. The Co-op is a non-profit collective comprised of individuals, organizations, and businesses dedicated to the healing, health, and regeneration of the planet and its inhabitants. Contingencies of the Amsterdam living foods and holistic communities have combined forces - exemplifying that unification is a cooperative force that shatters and exceeds the limitations of identifying solely within the microcosm of neighborhood and nation - from the profane sense of separatism and egocentricity, my will - to the limitless possibilities of the unlimited macrocosm - the sacred, thy will.

Since its conception last summer, The Conscious Co-op is rapidly growing and gaining a magnitude of momentum. Until the first center is constructed in Amsterdam (projected opening 2006) the founding members of the co-op produce events independently of one another with the open invitation to other co-op members to co-create the event. In Amsterdam and The States we are currently producing conscious parties, lectures, living foods classes, environmental education, potlucks, a raw food support group, and plans for a summer and fall holistic health fair.

Our objective is educating the public about all aspects of sustainable living, offer healing/rejunvenative services, and to utilize the arts as a medium to reach people of all ages and backgrounds. The co-ops forthcoming healing/resource centers around the globe, its online presence, and its traveling outreach programs are a one-stop reconnection source and databank that cross links people with contacts, information, and knowledge, whether one is located in a city or is a country dweller. The co-op unites and expedites the sharing of information, services, and goods that contribute to personal and planetary healing and sustainability. A main priority of the co-op is to prepare people with information and life skills for the foreseeable changes occurring to The Earth that are predicated upon global warming, overpopulation, and mans general disconnection from The Source of Life Itself.

After traveling for a month across Europe , and 2 months in Amsterdam , I realized that the fragrant fruit of freedom is fresh and ripe for the picking, especially in The Netherlands. Europe has the potential to be an explosive model and leader for unification – a standard and example for the world's countries and continents to emulate and expand upon.

Currently The Conscious Co-op is producing Club Raw, which is an initiative of Mastercare (see mastercare.nl for The Netherlands complete online living foods store, information about their wellness program, events, and much more). At this cool cushy lush party every second Saturday of the month, DJ's spin dance soul grooves, and a raw chocolate bar offers creative concoctions that please the pickiest of palates. Natural elixirs, superfoods, and snacks have everyone high on crystal clarity and good vibes. The Beautiful Loving People prove that it's healthy to be hip and consciousness is way cool. It's all the intoxification and none of the hangover.

Rawlicious Sundays is a monthly gathering that provides the opportunity to hang out with other like lively minds for a full day of scheduled presentations and a light lunch. A live food prep class, speakers or a DVD presentation, organic juices, and live music make for a well rounded day of stimulation, education, and rejuvenation. This event is put together by Mastercare ( www.mastercare.nl, Remy Draaijer & Keung Man), LauraLivingCuisine(Laura de Nooijer; see www.lauralevensvuur.nl for more information about Laura's weekly raw dinners), and the rest of The Conscious Co-op crew, Raw Temple (Bastiaan Swager & Susana Barrero), Helen Poolman (Intuitive Healer), and Unlimited Health (Helen Belien and Anil). Myself (Amy Rachelle, see www.amyrachelle.com) included we make up the founding members of The Conscious Co-op.

We call to action any person or group inspired to start, of become a part of, The Conscious Co-op. We call to action anyone interested in visiting our events or hosting them. We call to action anyone who dreams about investing in something huge to serve humanity. We call to action all those who feel the urgency and emergency to create positive personal and planetary change. Unified we can undo the damage, collectively heal, and renounce the separatism that has enslaved us since the beginning of time. We can come into alignment with the purpose of our existence, our spiritual assignment: the mission of manifesting pure positive potential – in the physical, here, now.
